Superior Group of Industries (SGI) was founded by Prof. M.M. Agrawal, a visionary leader dedicated to social upliftment and education. The journey began with the establishment of Superior Drinks Pvt Ltd in 1989-90, followed by Narmada Drinks Pvt Ltd in 1991-92 and Superior Industries Ltd in 1998-99. SGI expanded further with Indo-European Breweries Ltd in 2003-04 and Udaipur Beverages Ltd in 2004-05.

Our Founder Prof. M.M. Agrawal Setup Superior Group
Professor Sahib devoted himself to the task of providing humanity and dignity to the weaker section of society in the country. His works, principles, ideals and thoughts about the upliftment and welfare of downtrodden people, India’s unity and integrity, and maintaining communal harmony among the masses of the country will be remembered forever. Born on the 21st April, 1934 in Chandausi, District Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his M.A & M.Com from DAV College, Kanpur after which he obtained his Law Degree from Kanpur University, Kanpur.

Superior Drinks PVT. LTD.
SDPL, a franchise bottler of The Coca-Cola Company, Atlanta, began manufacturing carbonated soft drinks in Nagpur in 1991. In 2015-2016, we established a state-of-the-art greenfield project at the Butibori Industrial Area, Nagpur, with an investment of approximately ₹150 crores (USD 17.86 million). This advanced facility has significantly bolstered our production capacity, enabling us to achieve a net turnover of ₹240.91 crores (USD 28.68 million) in FY 2022-23, compared to ₹209.20 crores (USD 24.9 million) in FY 2021-22. The growth in sales is attributed to our enhanced production capabilities driven by the commissioning of this cutting-edge plant.

Established Indo-European Breweries Ltd.
In 2003-04, Superior Group of Industries established Indo-European Breweries Ltd. (IEBL) in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. This greenfield project was set up under a co-pack agreement with Coca-Cola India, initially featuring a 600 BPM RGB line. IEBL’s primary focus was on manufacturing and supplying finished products to Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. Over the years, IEBL expanded its operations, entering into a finance arrangement with Tata Capital in 2023 to install a 350 BPM CSD Canning Line from KHS, Germany. The company also plans to manufacture Monster Energy Drinks starting in 2024. IEBL’s strategic location and advanced facilities have made it a key player in the beverage industry.

Established Superior Transport Services India Pvt. Ltd.
Established in 2023, Superior Transport Services India Pvt. Ltd. was created to strengthen the Superior Group’s logistics and supply chain efficiency. Focused on reliable and cost effective transportation, the company ensures smooth and timely deliveries across the Group’s operations. Over time, Superior Transport has expanded rapidly and today operates a strong fleet of 120 commercial carriers, enabling it to handle higher shipment volumes with consistency and safety. Supported by strategically located depots, warehouses, and maintenance facilities, the company has built a dependable logistics network. Through its focus on efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction, Superior Transport Services India Pvt. Ltd. has emerged as a robust and trusted logistics partner within the Superior Group.

Established Superior Polymers India Pvt. Ltd.
Superior Polymers India Private Limited is an emerging force within the Superior Group, established with a clear vision to enhance the Group’s packaging efficiency and supply‑chain integration. Located in Kathua, Jammu, the company operates a state‑of‑the‑art PET preform manufacturing unit designed to support backward integration for Coca‑Cola franchisees across central India. Classified under packaging‑related industrial activities, Superior Polymers India Private Limited supplies its entire PET preform output to its sister concerns-SDPL, NDPL, and UBL. This streamlined internal distribution model not only ensures uninterrupted supply for beverage production but also boosts operational synergy and cost efficiency across the Superior Group. By strengthening its in‑house packaging ecosystem, the Group continues to build a more resilient and sustainable value chain.

Established Chandrika Power Pvt Ltd.
Setup in 2025, Chandrika Power Private Limited marks an important milestone in the Superior Group’s renewable energy expansion with the start of ethanol production at its Nalanda, Bihar facility. Under the guidance of Chairman Pradeep Agrawal, Vice Chairman Vishal Agrawal, and Managing Director Manish Agarwal, the plant dispatched its first ethanol tanker, signaling full operational readiness. Producing 100 KLPD of ethanol, the unit is already contributing to India’s green‑energy goals while generating rural employment and supporting farmers in the region. Operational since 2023, Chandrika Power reinforces the Group’s commitment to sustainable growth, biofuel development, and responsible industrial progress as it plans future capacity expansion.

Recent Developments
- Udaipur Beverages Ltd set a national record for the fastest setup of a Greenfield Coca-Cola project within 117 days.
- Indo-European Breweries Ltd entered into a finance arrangement with Tata Capital to install a 350 BPM CSD Canning Line.
- Superior Polymers India Pvt Ltd began installing Pet Preform manufacturing units in Jammu.
- Superior Transport India Services Pvt Ltd was established in 2023 to provide logistics support with 90 new commercial vehicles. In 2024, 20 new commercial vehicles of Bharat Benz were added to the fleet.
- 760 BPM ASSP CSD Pet line was installed at Narmada Drinks Pvt. Ltd., Bilaspur in 2024.
- 400 PPM Tetra Juice Line was installed in 2024 at Udaipur Beverages Ltd., Jabalpur.
SGI continues to invest in new production lines and logistics to meet the growing demand. The group has also embraced modern technology, implementing ERP systems for efficient management and decision-making. With a gross total turnover exceeding Rs. 2,317 Crores (USD 275.83 Million) for the financial year ended 31.3.2023, SGI remains on a path of continuous growth and innovation, driven by a commitment to excellence and a vision for the future.
