- Renewable & Clean Energy
Harnessing Clean Energy for a Sustainable Tomorrow
For your better tomorrow, save energy today. Save Energy, Save Money, Save Nation, Save the planet.
At Superior Group of Industries, we are deeply committed to reducing our carbon footprint by integrating renewable and clean energy sources into our manufacturing and distribution operations. We recognize our responsibility to support a more sustainable future and are proactively adopting energy-efficient technologies that align with global sustainability goals.
Solar Power Initiatives
One of our key focuses on renewable energy is the adoption of solar power. Our bottling facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art solar panels that generate clean energy, helping to offset the electricity used in our production processes. By harnessing the abundant solar energy available in India and regularly buying International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-RECs), we have significantly reduced our reliance on non-renewable power sources, cutting down on greenhouse gas emissions and lowering operational costs. This is part of our long-term vision to move towards becoming a carbon-neutral operation.

Energy-Efficient Equipment
We continuously invest in energy-efficient equipment and production technologies to minimize energy consumption across our facilities. From installing high-efficiency motors, pumps, and compressors to upgrading lighting systems to LED technology, every aspect of our manufacturing process is optimized for energy savings. These improvements help us reduce energy wastage while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety.
Save Energy, Save Money, Save Nation, Save the planet.
Energy efficiency Improvements
- Switched to all LED lights in complete plant premises
- Started the energy audits to identify areas for energy saving and limit the wastage of energy.
- Incorporated Natural light vents in the warehouse for illumination
- Bilaspur: 400 New LEDs were installed which reduces 50 % of Consumption
- Nagpur: 100% LEDs being used for Lighting
- Aurangabad: 100% LEDs being used for Lighting

Briquette Boiler
Using Briquette boiler instead of fossil fuel boiler to reduce carbon footprint Avoided 20 Metric ton of CO2/ Year. Briquette boiler use biomass briquettes made from agricultural waste, sawdust, or other organic materials. These briquettes are considered carbon – neutral because the CO2 released during combustion is roughly equal to the CO2 absorbed by the plants during their growth.
- Bilaspur: 1 Bio-Mass briquette fire boiler for steam generation
- Jabalpur: 2 Bio-Mass briquette fire boiler for steam generation
- Nagpur: 1 Bio-Mass briquette fire boiler for steam generation
- Aurangabad: 1 Bio-Mass briquette fire boiler for steam generation
Green Logistics Sustainability is not limited to our production processes; we are also working to make our distribution network more eco-friendly. By optimizing our transportation routes and exploring alternative fuels for our delivery fleet, such as compressed natural gas (CNG) and electric vehicles, we are reducing our carbon emissions in logistics. This holistic approach ensures that clean energy principles extend across our entire supply chain.

It is possible to make greener choices across the supply chain.
- Bilaspur: 11 Battery Operated FLTs, and 32 Battery operated 3-wheeler for Market
- Jabalpur: 07 Battery Operated FLTs
- Nagpur: 10 Battery Operated FLTs and 2 Stackers
- Aurangabad: 02 Battery Operated FLTs and 2 Stackers
All the New Fleets used for the transportation of finished products are BS6 Grade vehicles with Urea as AdBlue additive. Adblue is one of the latest techniques used to clean up diesel emissions is known as selective catalytic reduction (SCR). To treat exhaust gases and remove harmful pollutants, including nitrogen oxides (NOx), of which nitrogen dioxide (NO2) is the most harmful.

Employee Engagement
Our renewable energy efforts go hand in hand with our commitment to raising awareness about sustainability. We engage our employees through training and educational programs that emphasize the importance of renewable energy and environmental stewardship. By sharing our knowledge and initiatives, we aim to inspire others to take action toward a cleaner and greener future.
The 5 Cs of employee engagement-Care, Connect, Coach, Contribute, and Congratulate-are critical for building a motivated and productive workforce.
