SIL has acquired its Faridabad unit from United Breweries
SIL was established in 1998 and began manufacturing beer for United Breweries (Kingfisher Brand). In 2003, it acquired a distillery in Bareilly from M/s ITR Co. Ltd and started producing both potable and non-potable alcohol, including Country Liquor, Rectified Spirit, etc. in 2004. Additionally, the company secured a tender to supply ethanol to the Government of India in 2014-2015 and has since been consistently supplying to various government companies such as Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL), Bharat Petroleum (BPCL), and Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL).

The company has installed capacity of Rectified Spirit (RS) for 74 kl/day. Company has also installed 35 Tph slop fired Incineration Boiler along with 6.00 M.W. Turbine under expansion project which in turn has increased its operations from currently 230 days to 330 days per year.
SIL has also installed 60KLPD Grain based distillery from Praj Industries in its existing premises with the Project cost of INR.760 Million approx. Further It has achieved a gross total turnover of more than INR 16,280 Million a during the FY 2022-2023 in comparison to INR 17,280 Million during the corresponding period of 2021-22 ( due to decrease in Excise duty).
