Responsible Water Management: Our Commitment to Stewardship

"Water is the driving force of all nature." Preserve water. - Leonardo da Vinci
At Superior Group of Industries, we understand that water is a precious and limited resource, and as a Coca-Cola bottler in India, we take our responsibility to safeguard it seriously.

Our first goal was to become water-balanced. We exceeded that goal by giving back more water to nature and communities as we use in our products. We will keep going.

More than 100% of the water used by our operations is replenished back to Mother Earth
Created a replenishment potential equivalent to 100% of water used by our operations, and we are improving year-on-year.
Water Efficiency and Conservation
We are committed to reducing the amount of water used in our production processes through continuous improvement and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies. Our bottling plants are designed to optimize water use at every stage of production, from cleaning and rinsing to mixing and filling.
Water-Saving Technologies
Our facilities are equipped with advanced water-saving technologies such as efficient filtration methods. These technologies enable us to minimise water waste and ensure that we use water resources as effectively as possible.
Water Replenishment and Sustainability
In alignment with Coca-Cola’s global commitment to replenish 100% of the water used in our beverages, we actively engage in water replenishment initiatives to give back to the environment and local communities. This ensures that the water we use is replenished through sustainable practices.
Rainwater Harvesting
We have installed rainwater harvesting systems across our plants to capture and store rainwater, which is then reused for non-production purposes. This not only helps in conserving local water resources, but also reduces our reliance on external water sources.
Watershed Management
We partner with local communities and environmental organizations to implement watershed management programs. These projects include restoring water bodies, recharging aquifers, and improving irrigation practices to support water conservation efforts and enhance water availability in the regions where we operate.
Wastewater Treatment
Our commitment to sustainability extends to wastewater management. All wastewater generated from our bottling operations is treated to meet or exceed local regulatory standards before being safely returned to the environment.
Advanced Treatment Systems
Our bottling plants are equipped with state-of-the-art wastewater treatment systems that purify water through multiple stages, including filtration, biological treatment, and disinfection. This ensures that the water we discharge is clean, safe, and ready to be reused or returned to local water bodies.
To us, water stewardship is central to our mission of creating a sustainable future. Through efficient water use and replenishment initiatives, we are proud to play a role in protecting one of our planet’s most vital resources, ensuring its availability for future generations.
